“ So grateful to find this place today! Its almost 100 degrees out and with 3 little dogs, this was heaven. They have fans blowing and shade... Lovely view. Brunch was amazing. Had a Smoked Salmon Salad 16 and Bloody Mary 6! Beignets 6 for 6. The guy next to us had an amazing plate of Chicken and Waffles. Excellent service, very friendly and attentive. ”
“ We had brunch today and the weather was perfect so we were able to eat outside. We had the shrimp and grits, salmon salad, and sweet potato fries. The shrimp and grits were excellent. The smoked salmon salad was really good the waitress asked if I wanted the dressing on the side I said no but should have said yes. The dressing is good but typically I dont use much dressing so it was a bit much for me. The sweet potato fries were about the same as other places. We had a sangria that was really good. The atmosphere was excellent and was a great addition to experiencing the library. ”

“ Feeling fancy after eating here. Came out on mothers day weekend for dinner. A tad slow service but they had a huge wedding party so understandable. Our food was delicious. We all tried something different. The mustard maple chicken was really tasty. My mahi mahi fish was a little bland for me. The braised short ribs and salmon were both loved. We ended with key lime and I could have had a few of those. I love key lime. I would recommend. Cool place under the library and you can sit outside and watch the river. ”
“ Firstly, our waitress was WONDERFUL. She wa so caring and sweet. I forgot her name but she was so sweet. I asked her what I should try and she recommended the salmon salad and she was right, it was absolutely delicious. She also recommended I believe the cheesecake dessert and again she was right. Soo good. The only think that wasnt my cup of tea was our appetizer, which was a battered shrimp dish. It was too salty for me. But everything else I tried was amazing ”
“ 42 Bar and Table monthly wine dinners are BACK and they are FABULOUS!!! A group of friends and I attended the first one last month. Chef Andres four course meal featuring dishes from his hometown in France were all amazing from the garlic soup, to the trout, to the chicken, to the apple tart. Substantial portions without being too much or too heavy! The wine pairings were also spoton and complemented each course impeccably. My friends and I enjoyed Chefs Andre reminiscing about his mothers cooking and the origins of some of the recipes and relevance to his hometown that is nestled in a valley in the Vosges region of France. A lovely personal and memorable touch to the evening. Our server, La Vonda, was amazing handling multiple tables with grace, efficiency, and professionalism. She was a joy! An evening to remember. Looking forward to the next wine dinner and hopefully many more! at 42 Bar and Table! ”

“ We visited on a whim while at the Clinton Library. Its a small restaurant on the lower level of the library. The food and service were excellent. Prices also reasonable. The bar features lots of locally made beers and spirits. Totally worth visiting! ”
